Volunteer at an Event

Volunteering in motor sport is one of the most rewarding ways to be part of the action without being behind the wheel. From standing trackside during high-speed competition to helping events run smoothly behind the scenes, volunteers play a critical role in every aspect of the sport. Without dedicated volunteers, motor sport simply could not operate.
Volunteers are responsible for helping ensure events are conducted safely, fairly, and professionally while upholding the rules and regulations that keep competitors, spectators, and officials safe. Every event relies on a strong team of volunteers with a wide range of skills and experience to carry out important duties throughout the day.
There are many different volunteer roles available across our events, including gate staff, sign-on and administration, start line operations, grid control, track marshals, flag marshals, paddock support, and general event assistance. Whether you are completely new to motor sport or already have experience within the industry, there is a place for everyone to get involved. Full training and guidance are provided, and volunteering is a great way to learn more about the sport, gain hands-on experience, and become part of the wider motor sport community.
Volunteering also offers a unique opportunity to build friendships, develop practical skills, and experience the excitement of live events from a perspective most spectators never see. Many volunteers go on to become long-term officials, event coordinators, or competitors themselves after discovering a passion for the sport through volunteering.
To support our volunteer team and help cover out-of-pocket expenses such as food, travel, and general day-to-day costs, volunteers receive small cash honorariums depending on their role and responsibilities. These honorariums are not intended as wages, but rather as a gesture of appreciation and recognition for the time, effort, and commitment our volunteers contribute to the success of each event.
Most importantly, our volunteers are a valued part of the community and the backbone of our events. Their dedication, professionalism, and passion for motor sport help create safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experiences for everyone involved.
